SYLVANER Vieille Vigne

Vin d'appellation Alsace Controlée

Light, dry white - between 12 and 12.5° alcohol content, depending on the vintage

Aroma/taste: Originating from our oldest vineyard (over 60 years old). Lively, crisp wine, typical of the grape variety in its rusticity and easy drinkability. Citrus overnotes and upfront taste.

With food: at 8-10° - ideal with oysters. also goes excellently with all seafood, cold meat dishes, light starters, fresh goat's cheese.

Keeps for: 3 years



PINOT BLANC Auxerrois




Vin d'appellation Alsace Controlée

Light, dry white - between 12 and 13° alcohol content

Aroma/taste: Supple and moreish wine with aromatic hints of Chardonnay. Upfront taste but with suppleness in the mature fruits, accompanied by notes of white petals.

With food: 8-10° Ideal for evenings with friends, given its excellent value for money. Goes well with all simple, convivial dishes (cold starters, terrines, soufflés, pies, leek pies, raclettes, etc.)

Keeps for: 4 years



MUSCAT


Vin d'appellation Alsace Controlée

Light, dry white - between 11 and 12° alcohol content

Aroma/taste: On the palate, this is the only Alsatian wine to give you the impression of biting into a fresh grape, but its aroma and taste are not long in the mouth, leaving your palate fresh.

With food: an aperitif wine, ideal with mise en bouches. Goes excellently with buffets, light starters and, of course, asparagus.

Keeps for: 3 years



RIESLING EQUINOXE


Vin d'appellation Alsace controlée - cultivated on older soil on slopes close to the Grand Cru Kirchberg de Ribeauvillé, facing south-east.

Dry white -  between 12 and 13.5° alcohol content

Aroma / taste: has an attractive mineral aroma. Full-bodied with an appealing crispness and aromas of exotic fruits mixed with mineral notes.

With food: 8-10° - ideal with fish, sauerkraut and certain cheeses (St Marcelin, Pont l'Evêque, etc.)

Keeps for: 8 years



PINOT GRIS TZIGANE


Vin d'appellation Alsace contrôlée, originating from 5 sloping vineyards of about 25 years old on average, facing south, south-east.

Medium dry white -  between 12.5 and 13.5° alcohol content
sweetness: 2 (on a scale of 1 = dry to 5 = syrupy)

Aroma / taste: wine which is typical of the grape variety - a generous and intense nose of mature fruit and quince. Pleasant and quite rounded taste, with toasted and caramelised hints on the finish. Robust structure.

With food: 8-10° - accompanies starters including mixed salads, salads with sausage or duck and assorted cold meats, as well as white meat and certain smoked cheeses.

Keeps for: 6 to 8 years



GEWURZTRAMINER AMBROISIE


Vin d'appellation Alsace, originating from 3 sloping vineyards of 30 to 35 years old with a low yield and mainly clay and silty soil.
Medium dry to sweet white - between 13 and 14° alcohol content
sweetness: 3 (on a scale of 1 = dry to 5 = syrupy)

Aroma / taste: wine with an attractively intense floral and spicy nose (passion fruit, mango, citrus fruit, etc.) Rich and well-structured taste.

With food: an excellent accompaniment to strong cheeses (such as Munster, Roquefort and Epoisse) and to exotic, spicy food. It is a also a dessert wine par excellence.

Keeps for: 6 years



RIESLING Grand Cru KIRCHBERG DE RIBEAUVILLE


Vin d'appellation Alsace Grand Cru contrôlée

Dry white - between 12 and 13.5° alcohol content

Aroma / taste: mineral nose which is typical of the terroir - pedigree aroma enlivened by a mature, almost saline acidity - A very robust wine with a very long finish.

With food: 8 - 10°. goes well with fish dishes and certain cheeses (St Marcelin, Pont l'Evêque, Vieux Comté)

Keeps for: 12 years



RIESLING TERRASSES DU SAINT UL


Vin d'appellation Alsace contrôlée
Dry white -  between 12 and 12.5° alcohol content

Terroir: granite and gneiss.
Location of the vineyard: a terraced vineyard on very sloping, rocky soil, facing east, south-east, overlooking the old town at the foot of the Château du Saint Ulrich.

With food: dry and delicately fruity wine, with aromas of apricot and lime. Very generous nose, lively and upfront taste, giving the wine an attractive freshness.

An ideal accompaniment to seafood, raw or cooked fish, fresh cheeses.

Keeps for: 7 years



GEWURZTRAMINER Vendange Tardive


Vin d'appellation Alsace controlée

Sweet white - between 13 and 14° alcohol content

Aroma/taste: 4 (on a scale of 1 = dry to 5 = syrupy)

Aroma / taste: Very exotic nose with an attractive aromatic intensity (passion fruit, lychee, etc.) Rich, robust and very elegant on the palate

With food:  8 - 10° - goes with foie gras and desserts (chocolate), but can also be drunk on its own on big occasions for the pleasure of tasting a great wine.

Keeps for: 15 years




RIESLING Sélection de Grains Nobles 2000


Vin d'appellation Alsace contrôlée

Syrupy white - 12.5° alcohol - 61g residual sugar

Aroma / taste: nose: honey, tea, Corinthian grape characteristic of the Grain Noble - generous and elegant aroma - attractive balance of sweet and sharp - a very long finish

With food: 8 - 10° - can accompany foie gras, but can also be drunk on its own for the pleasure of tasting a very rare wine of the highest quality!

Keeps for: 25 years or more, depending on the conditions in which it is kept

Note: this wine won a gold medal at the 'Rieslings du Monde 2003' competition.
